Two decades at top companies such as PwC, EY and KPMG not only taught me how to prepare proposals. In particular, I learnt what exactly convinces and how to inspire. I led teams that landed numerous major contracts.

Over the last ten years, I have focussed on igniting the fire of presentation skills in my colleagues. Insecurity was yesterday. With specially developed training/workshop concepts and personal coaching sessions, I transformed timid speakers into genuine artists of persuasion.

Last year, I added to my expertise with further training in storytelling, video creation, virtual presentations and, most recently, as a trainer.

Especially in the current business environment, where there are more and more offers and competition, it is all the more important to stand out with impressive presentations.

But of course also those who want to increase their chances of promotion or in the application process with an outstanding presentation.

My unique combination of knowledge of communication consulting in the corporate world, personal appearance expertise and decades of consulting services form a strong foundation.

In training sessions, I not only rely on a well-thought-out mix of theory, but also on practice-oriented exercises that are always enriched with a pinch of humour.

My trademark is my personalised approach, especially in one-to-one coaching sessions, where I leave each coachee to develop their own individual personality.

I do not offer off-the-peg counselling, but always adapt the collaboration to the challenges of my clients.

The biggest hurdle is certainly the issue of time. One fits all’ may save time, but it is not necessarily successful, as the addressee quickly realises this.

It is important to focus the available time correctly. The right tools generate high efficiency. In addition, my clients benefit from my neutral view, which uncovers blind spots.

Then there is the classic fear of public speaking during presentations and appearances. Coupled with insecurity regarding posture and gestures, as well as the need to appear competent and confident.

Many people juggle this with the fear of how they will be perceived by others. Fear of being judged by others plays a central role here, which is why intensive communication training and mindset work is necessary to overcome these barriers.

Even if it is tempting, I do not recommend reaching into the drawer to recycle the last slides.

The customer/addressee will sense whether this is a standardised, off-the-peg presentation or one that has been tailored to them. Going the extra mile pays off and significantly increases the chances of success.

This is a universal principle: people buy from people. This is because no AI, however advanced it may be, can replace the human charisma that makes a lasting impression on the other person in presentations and speeches.

Due to digitalisation and the rise of virtual meetings, many of us are unfortunately a little rusty in the art of direct communication.

We often hide behind screens, but true persuasiveness only really unfolds when our entire being, including our body and our rhetoric, actively participates in the conversation.

People long for authentic communication. This allows us to really convince the other person and possibly even influence a decision significantly.

We start by defining your challenge and goal together.

For presentations, your status quo and your desired goal are important. My experience shows that every coachee has their own challenges. From speech anxiety and stage fright to more specialised topics such as storytelling or quickly building confidence when dealing with others.

Together we develop a customised plan.

Pitch training sessions benefit from practical exercises that allow me to gain insight into your specific needs, building on our subsequent sessions to achieve the desired outcome.

The sustainable impact of the collaboration is my priority.

For offers, it goes beyond winning an order. Showing my customers what adjustments they can make, what needs to be considered and simply bringing a breath of fresh air into the process. Some of my questions have already turned one-way streets into multi-lane motorways.

When it comes to pitches, my clients are more confident and relaxed with their presentations. Just recently, a coachee proudly told me about her success, how she was able to present confidently to over 100 people thanks to her newly acquired self-confidence.

That is the added value of my presentation coaching! It is impressive when coachees perform with routine and persuasiveness, with videos often serving as vivid before-and-after comparisons.
